This is one of those guides that just needed to be written. When you read it… you will smack your head against the wall several times. Why? Because you know you have left your money in stores instead of in your pocket… Many – Many times.
You will find that your guide will be dog-eared, bookmarked, post”y” taps hanging out and the cover will soon become a smooshed up mess. This is the “Go To Bible – for every store you scout for products.
So… what’s this guide all about?
This is a reference guide… and so much more. If you are sourcing products from Big Box Retail Stores or Chain Thrift Stores… you NEED This Guide.
Kat and Danni split up this book into easy referenced chapters – each store has it’s own. This makes it so easy to flip through and find the stores you regularly shop at.
Beth and I skipped past the thrift stores we don’t have in our area – like Savers. You can be sure that we will read that chapter any time we are planning a trip to a city with a Savers.
NOTE: Debra remembers the last time she was in Las Vegas (which she visits often) and couldn’t get any discounts. You can be sure that she will follow Danni’s tip for having a bag of donations to receive a discount on purchases.
Not all Thrift Stores are created equal. Danni explained how the Goodwill stores work in her area – Debra and Beth each have Goodwill stores in their areas that work differently. Some thrift stores have days where a different colored tag is on special. Some stores have regular 50% off days, and days where Senior Citizens and/or Military get discounts. In Arizona – if you subscribe to the Arizona Goodwill newsletter – you will get coupons for 20% every shopping trip.
The point is… when reading this guide you will find out about all different kinds of thrift stores… and you will know what to look for in the way of discounts. Plus… you will know what to ask for in each store.
Some Big Box Retail Stores want you to save money... but you need to know some tricks. Their are shopper loyalty cards, store debit or credit cards that offer extra discounts, Facebook discount coupons, newsletter emails to sign up for. All of it’s a bit confusing.
The confusion is wiped away with this guide…
everything is simple – simple – simple!
What kinds of stores are covered in this guide? Dollar, Thrift, Big Box, Hardware, Electronic, Costco, Baby, Toy, Craft, Pet, Grocery and Drug Stores. About 50 stores are covered… and not just text – but lot’s of pictures are included! And links… links… links. Kat and Danni have scanned the internet and found every link possible that will lead to some way of scoring a discount in just about every store you can think of.
Extra Bonus in this guide: Jim and Kelli Shaw (the Thrifty Coupon Couple) wrote an entire chapter about how they use coupons for scouting. This one chapter could save you enough to pay for the entire guide – In less than a week!
Another Extra Bonus – A few pages on using Kabbage. If you have ever wished you could find a bit of funding to make a purchase that will make you great profit, but you just don’t have the cash on hand… Kabbage is the place that will help you. Seriously, these people know what selling online is all about!
All in all… we just love this guide. It’s just to dog-gone easy to get wrapped up in shopping and not pay attention to some details that will save you a significant amount of money. Don’t leave money on the table… leave it in your pockets.
P.S. The only thing missing is how to really save some cash by Not Paying Sales Tax – Ever! We have you covered with Debra’s Buy Tax Exempt – Sales Tax Free Guide. Extra savings by not paying sales tax is a huge bonus to your profit. Don’t pay sales tax for inventory. 🙂
